THE Perception OF EQUALITY

We must open our spiritual eyes to see what really exists, not
what our senses and feelings tell us. No longer should we strive
toward equality -- it's not an issue -- it just IS.
It was only after David perceived himself to be king (which he
had legally been since a teenager), that 1 Chronicles says he
obtained victory at Baal Perizim (14:11). One day it dawned on
David that he already held the position and authority of that
royal office. When he finally "perceived" it, then God was able
to break through like water from a pent-up dam. Like David, all
of us must perceive the fullness of our salvation, redemption,
and inheritance through Christ.
The Holy Spirit invites us to sit down on the throne of abundant
authority, and rule in victory. It's up to us! Will we? There's
nothing more anyone can do to merit His grace. Don't try to do
anything else, just choose to reign. Choose to be equal – no
need to strive. Become part of the new breed, hidden with Christ
in God (Col. 3:1-11). The old man is already dead (Rom. 6:6)
-- and you can prevail today.
It's "metanoia" – the perception beyond our understanding of
just who we are "In Him" -- that frees us to love the world.
We see that the cross FULLY brings each of us into positional
equality. Suddenly, from the inside out (like a volcano), comes
the realization that our son-ship made us the victor. It's already
done! But, our freedom doesn't come all at once, it breaks through
as we accurately perceive and overcome the divisive OLD NATURE
(feelings of hatred, prejudice, and offense) that has bedeviled
and haunted our minds. Now at last, we can focus on this freedom,
we hear a rustling in the Mulberry trees -- the turtledoves sing
of reconciliation. It's this process of perceiving our position
of being equally together IN CHRIST that discloses the reality
of full redemption for all believers. Only then will our triumphant
lives bear witness to a lost humanity.
Reader, the call of God comes today saying: "You've been misunderstood
in days gone by, by many who have looked on the external and
not discerned your heart. But I am the discerner of the heart
says the Lord. ...So it doesn't matter what men might say, or
murmur and complain about. You just be faithful over the things
I have called you to do, and your life will come about. The authority
for ministry comes from the awareness of the emerging Christ
person within. And be not afraid of those that speak out against
you or of those who overlook you, but be afraid of missing the
full plan and purpose of God."
A revelation of total redemption removes our archaic understanding
of role identities.
What do minorities want? Women, the aged, the young, the poor,
the rich, the different ethnic groups… What do they want? Not
to be ignored. They want acceptance, opportunity, and respect
for their personhood. They want a chance to use their fullest
competency to serve God, and to have fellowship with others who
are involved in mutual callings. They want to be fully human
and have a right to be satisfied.
As hurting souls, we groan with "eager anticipation" (prolepsis)
of the future fulfillment of our desires (Rom. 8:23). Proleptic
anticipation means, at least in part, to realize that the promised
event has ALREADY ARRIVED. Prolepsis could be further defined
as a chronological altering, a dating of an event before it happens.
That's why we can say that the breakthrough has come, prejudice
is already defeated. It is why we confidently "show forth the
Lord's death until He comes" (1 Cor. 11:26). His death already
triumphed over prejudice and inequity. It is finished.
Paul said that everything participates in groaning. Romans 1:22-23
explains how we groan inwardly because we anticipate coming into
the fullness of our inheritance. How can we tear town this wall
of partition, this arrogant unbending separation? We can't, but
God already did. Birthed out of your pain, comes this refreshing
seedling of hope. Hope says it's time for those yearning ones
(of all races, social levels, and gender) to come forth clothed
with an armor of light and panting after Jesus, the Lover of
their souls. With unutterable gushings of the heart (stenagmos
Rom. 8:23), we plead for the "perception" and the actualization
of our release from carnality to spirituality—to the resurrection
promise of eternal-life. NOW.
He does not ignore the cry of the afflicted. (Ps. 9:12)
Yes, all creation groans and labors with birth pangs (odin),
waiting for their promised deliverance – to be fully formed IN
CHRIST. The Phillips' translation of Romans 8 elucidates this
expectation, "The whole creation stands on tiptoe to see this
wonderful sight of the sons of God coming into their own." That's
you-- are you ready?
Finally, the transition stage is upon us. If there's any resistance
to the delivery, then we just need to change our position a little
bit! Move. The birth of emancipation is here. Likewise, (Romans
8:26) the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses (inability to produce
or give birth). Christ is formed in us, because we yield to the
Spirit Himself, Who makes intercession for us. He comes alongside
(sunantilambano) to mutually bear the same load and help us be
transformed. We just need to "perceive" that it's accomplished!
From the dead places of failure and discrimination, the angels
become visible and powerfully roll away the stone. It's the stone
of hindrance. The stone of heaviness and discouragement. The
stone of bondage. Now, with undeserved vindication, we glimpse
into the nowness of the eternal resurrection life of God. The
hopeful universe anticipates catching a glimpse of this unmistakable
(manifest) child of God.
Out of our own ashes, we emerge as the mature and competent sons
(men and women) no longer expressing our excessive self-indulgences
and destructive desires (Rom. 8:19). We no longer have an axe
to grind. We don't have to "get even." We "perceive" that we're
the new corporate creature called the "sons of God. We're not
separated anymore by differences. We're " no longer "teknon"
the infant-child, but "huious" which means (according to the
Zopathes Lexicon), "the grown up offspring that are descendants,
irrespective of gender, race, or class... demonstrating the character
of the parent, full grown, blameless, giving evidence and dignity
to the likeness of God's character."
Winter ends. We find our Lover no longer hiding behind the lattice
– because nothing separates us anymore. His superior, unchanging
and eternal priesthood seals up inside us, and we become enveloped
together in His LIFE. We are fused together into Him, flesh of
His flesh and bone of His bone (having united with one another
as one with Him, being In Him and He in us, Eph. 5:30).
Jesus is our all in all.
We hear the cry of Paul in Romans 12:6, "Having gifts differing
according to the grace given to us, let us use them." It is not
even a matter of equality – it's an issue of image and likeness.

IN HIM!

Which way are you running today? I pray that you are running towards
Him. The 19th verse of this passage reads: "Let not God speak with us,
lest we die". One of the complaints that I hear too often from Christians
is that the preacher just isnąt anointed or they are just not being fed
where they are going to church. Many of Godąs people have become addicted
to the relayed word of good preaching who want to sit in a soft padded pew
and let someone else pre-digest what God has to say and give a drink of
milk. This is why some many of Godąs kids are "milk babies".
A few years back my wife and I were privileged to be in a service in
Toronto and I was amazed as I observed first hand the out pouring of Godąs
wonderful Holy Spirit each night. It was interesting to hear the ministers
crying out to God to give more of His Spirit to those that were being
ministered to. Have you ever been in a place with God when you didnąt think
you could take anymore of His sweet anointing? We are living in a wonderful
time today as God is moving in power across the earth. May the Lord grant
us grace to cry out for more of Him today. More and More and More.
This is a wonderful passage of scripture with great promises of God
touching us with His presence. We know that in His presence is fullness of
God and pleasures for ever more at His right hand which makes it worth our
while to humble ourselves before Him. May God grant us greater grace today
as we approach Him
with the right attitude of heart.
There is an air of expectancy and excitement in the Church today. When
the Israelites stood at the foot of Mount Sinai, they were only a few daysą
march away from the promised land. The reason they were delayed 40 years
was their reluctance to press in to God. Lord, show us the place we can
get shut in with You today. Help us to find Your secret place that we might
abide in Your presence in order that we might be able to carry Your presence
to a lost and dying world.

My Way

Dead are man's traditions. Alive is My Word. Look for the life in the
Word. Sooner will we join in love to save this nation from the enemy.
Lost are the things of the past. Now we must go forward in My strength
and by My power. I have waited for you to stop laboring in your own
wisdom, failing miserably. I have sit patiently while you have done it
your =A0 way. Now we will do it My way for My way is the right/only way.
The only way to Me is through My Son. Now, let's do it My way. What is
My way? With love and peace, I will reveal the heart. I am calling Mine
to go forth in My strength and My power. I have been waiting to reveal
My power and My authority to MIne. I am still waiting for many. Are you
ready to do it My way? Mark My Word that we will together do it My Way.

I Am the Way

My holy people, I use places as signposts. Do not seek the
signposts, but seek Me. I use the signposts to tell you where you
are and where you yet must go, but do not seek the signposts, instead
seek Me. I am doing a new thing. I am taking My holy people on a
journey. A journey with Me. A journey into battle. A journey into
destiny. A journey that will take you to a new place in Me. Seek My
Face. Call upon My Name. I will lead you in the way; for I am the
Way.

The Burning Bush

A number of ministries have repeated that Bob Jones, a prophetic
friend of ours, received a word almost two years ago that the Lord
was going to anoint "a burning bush from Texas" to become our next
president. This was before George W. Bush had announced his
intention to seek the Republican nomination. I don't think anyone was
considering him as a serious potential candidate at the time. When
Bob first told me this I honestly asked him if he thought it was Ross
Perot. That shows how prophetically dull I can be at times. However,
at the time, Bob did not know who it was either. He just knew that the
next president was going to come from Texas. Now we know who
"the burning bush" is, but what does it mean?
Last night as Bob and I sat at a dinner together, I asked him if he had
any further insight on what the "burning bush" part of this prophecy
meant. He said that when the Lord manifested Himself in the burning
bush, it was to call the leader that He had chosen to set His people
free from captivity. He said that during this administration the Lord was
going to be commissioning the leadership that He had chosen to lead
His people out of bondage.
Because the burning bush was the instrument that the Lord used to
call Moses, I feel that George W. Bush may be an instrument that the
Lord will use to speak prophetically to His people, especially His leaders.
However, the bush was not the instrument that the Lord used to deliver
His people from Egypt. I think that we too will be mistaken if we look to
the president for too much. He is a sign, and I do expect the Lord to
speak through him, but he is not the deliverer, or even the instrument of
deliverance. The church must not continue to look to the government to
do our job.
Yesterday, I was asked by a reporter from a Christian magazine if I
considered the prophetic ministry to now be established and mature. I
did not hesitate to answer "no." I believe that the primary calling of the
prophetic ministry is to call God's people to righteousness and
obedience to the Lord. When I look at what has been happening to the
moral integrity of the church in the last few years, the prophetic ministry
in this nation has obviously failed quite miserably to date. However, I
also know that we have not yet come to the end of the story.
I am thankful that many are being raised up in this time with quite
spectacular prophetic gifts. Personally, I do not believe that there is yet a
prophetic ministry that deserves the high title of "prophet." I also believe
the same about the apostolic ministry. Even so, I am very encouraged
that this is about to soon change. Many who have been wandering
aimlessly in the wilderness, but have been faithfully tending their flocks,
are about to receive their commission. Like Moses, they will have been
humbled for so long that they will feel and be quite inadequate for the task.
We will never be adequate for what the Lord calls us to do, which is why
we need Him. However, if we throw down the rod that is in our hand it will
become a snake that chases us until we pick it up again. We will never
be adequate for our calling, but He will be with us.
The commission that is about to come is not going to come through the
church, but directly from the Lord. We must not let people push us into
doing anything that we have not heard directly from the Lord about. Even
so, the Lord will soon be speaking to His chosen leaders. We are about
to enter some of the most exciting times to ever be alive on this earth.

THREE PROPHETIC PSALMS

Today the Lord brought to my remembrance three Psalms that
would be prophetic for the time period beginning with the
Feast of Trumpets in the year 2000. Prior to the Feast of
Trumpets (2000) the Master began to bring the prophetic
word concerning His intention to appoint gatekeepers in
the Tabernacle of David which is being rebuilt according
to Acts 15:16, "After this I will return and will rebuild
the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will
rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up."
It is, therefore, no surprise that Psalm 100 would be
prophetic to the year 2000. Psalm 100:4, "Enter into His
gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name."
Then, the Holy Spirit began to speak of the transition
that the church is presently involved in. The church is in
transition as she crosses over into the Third Day of
Christ. This transition involves a time of preparation
that we are now in.
Psalm 101 will be prophetic for the first five months of
2001 as it identifies the process of preparation. The Lord
is washing His bride with the prophetic word that is
coming forth right now. The Master is preparing His church
to be found without spot or wrinkle. He is bringing His
church into a state of perfection.
Psalm 101:1-5, "I will sing of mercy and justice; To You,
O LORD, I will sing praises. I will behave wisely in a
perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk
within my house with a perfect heart. I will set nothing
wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall
away; it shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall
depart from me; I will not know wickedness. Whoever
secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; the
one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, him I will
not endure."
Those who refuse to allow the present work will be cut off
as evil doers, but those who allow God's chastening to
prepare them will be called faithful.
Psalm 101:6-8, "My eyes shall be on the faithful of the
land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a
perfect way, he shall serve me. He who works deceit shall
not dwell within my house; He who tells lies shall not
continue in my presence. Early I will destroy all the
wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the evildoers
from the city of the LORD."
Those who are perfected will then cross over into the
third-day city called Zion, the city of the Lord, a
spiritual habitation of the righteous.
Psalm 110 will be prophetic for the last seven months of
the year 2001.
Psalm 110:1-2, "The LORD said to my Lord, 'Sit at My right
hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.' The LORD
shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in
the midst of Your enemies!"
The third day of Christ is the Day of His Power, a new day
birthed from the womb of the morning.
Psalm 110:3, "Your people shall be volunteers in the day
of Your power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb
of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth."
The prophesied royal priesthood after the order of
Melchizedek will become visible as the apostles begin to
establish the divine government of God.
Psalm 110:4-6, "The LORD has sworn and will not relent,
'You are a priest forever according to the order of
Melchizedek.' The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall
execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge
among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead
bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries."
Righteous judgment will come upon the nations as the
prophetic proclamation of the prophets comes forth at the
direction of the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 110:7, "He shall drink of the brook by the wayside;
therefore He shall lift up the head."
The Master, Jesus the Christ, shall be refreshed as He
lifts up His head triumphantly and watches His church, His
people, come into victory. His people shall drink from the
same brook that He does--the brook of living waters, the
water of the Spirit, and they shall follow the same
pathway to victory that Jesus Himself has over Satan. Yes,
they too have learned to rule in the midst of their
enemies. This is the church that will be found in Zion,
the third-day church.

ARE YOU AT THE END OF YOUR ROPE?

Many of you are under some of the worst trials and situations of your
life. No matter what you try to do to relieve the pressure, nothing works.
One problem will be solved and 2 more will pop up. In fact, you feel like
the camel that is waiting for the last straw to land on its back! You have
rebuked the enemy until you are blue in the face and have had everyone you
know pray for you, but nothing seems to work for long.
You are tired and beat and just can't seem to walk with God like you used
to. You cry out to God and it seems like the Heavens are brass. You are
just out of energy to follow God, you are ready to give up!
What God is doing is bringing you to the end of your own strength, so He
can fill you with His. All is not lost or hopeless, do not believe what
the enemy has been whispering into your ear. You are not the world's
greatest spiritual failure!
God is bringing us all to a point where we can no long walk with Him using
the methods and ways of the past. When we are weak........ we are strong!
God wants us to rely on His strength, not ours! It is time to burst out of
our "white washed tombs" and burst forth into the presence of the living
God.
God wants us all to have a new beginning with Him. God's ways are not our
ways and it is time for us to forsake our old ways and to follow Him.
I have been hearing 2 words lately........ New Beginning! This is not the
end, all is not lost......... this is just the new beginning of your walk
with God!
Of course what you have been going through has been painful, of course you
feel like you are at the end of your rope. But we all need to "give up on
ourselves" and the ways we have followed in the past and let God lead us
into the realm of the Spirit!!!
If you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill the desires and lusts of
the flesh!!! It is time to start walking in the Spirit, but not by our own
strength, but according to His. Give up!............. let it all
go!.......... Give it all to God and rest in Him!!! We have been carrying
our own burdens far too long!!!!
It is time to move into God's rest and experience his peace and joy
without measure!!! This is an exciting time! It is time to walk in the
Spirit and know the presence and power of God!!!
Rejoice because your release from the flesh is near! Here are some words
God has given me lately on the new thing He is about to do. It is time for
us to BEGIN our new walk with God!
The release of the Spirit
I am about to pour out my Spirit on all flesh. But before I do, I desire
to release the presence of the Spirit within you. No longer will you have
to walk by faith and not by sight. You will soon experience My presence
continually!
I Am your strength
I am bringing you to a place of emptiness... Where you will have to lay
down your desires and take up the strength I desire to provide you.
Nothing is too hard for me, now take My hand and allow Me to guide you. I
am your strength..... now rest in my and I will lift you up.
Deliverance is coming
I Am about to set the captives free. I am bringing deliverance to my
people. I am about to deliver them from the bondages of the flesh, that
they have suffered from for so long... I am about to set my people free!

But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, God is opposed to
the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Submit therefore to God . Resist
the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near
to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you
double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and week; let your laughter be turned
into mourning, and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of
the Lord, and He will exalt you. (James 4:6-10)
