Consider This

Larry R.Taylor

"ARISE SHINE FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME! AND THE GLORY OF THE LORD IS RISEN UPON YOU."

The word of the Lord to those who have been hidden: It is time to come out of hiding. The time of preparation is completed. Take your place, the one you have been prepared for. Position yourself to move into your prophetic destiny. Do not confuse refining with defeat. Humility is not shame. That which was pruned was unfruitful and unnecessary to accomplish your purpose. Do not revert to the old ways when you find yourself in position. Do not rely on the wisdom of men, but the revelation of God. Do not repeat the mistakes of previous generations, but rise up a new generation. Chosen of the Lord to reveal His glory to the nations.

David's army: Arise! Come forth! Out of the caves into the cities. Take your place, seated with Him to rule over His enemies. Take what has been designated as yours. The tide has turned, the season has changed. Arise. Those who have insight, SHINE! Those who have an understanding of the times: DECLARE THE TRUTH THAT MAKES MEN FREE. In love, humility, boldness, power and purity--come forth to rule and reign.

Do not shuffle your feet, shrink back and look at the ground. Hiddenness was a preparation, not a permanent dwelling place. You were not meant for the caves, you are destined for the throne room. Boldly accessing the face of Jesus. Transformed into His image. Revealing His glory to all the earth. Humbly submitting to His Word, His way, His Spirit. Lifted up by the hand of the Father. ARISE SHINE FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME.

It is time for action, not reflection. Having heard, speak. Having seen, do. Having been sent, go. The doors will open before you. The walls will fall. The chosen will follow.

Don't Hide Behind the Camouflage

Tammie Gelis

This morning the Lord begin to talk to me about this word camouflage. He told me that so many of us are hiding behind a camouflage. So many of us are trying to look like someone else. Act like someone else. So many of us want to blend in with everyone else. Not stick out like sore thumb. The Lord kept speaking to me that it is time for his people to stop camouflaging:

"Stop trying to be someone you are not. I have put people in your path to learn from and to help you grow but not for you to become them. I have created you each and everyone different. Do not be afraid or ashamed to be who it is I have made you to be. I have made no mistakes.

My Church is becoming camouflaged. They are so afraid of taking a stand and sticking out like sore thumb they have become more like the world. Their goal has become to be more sociably accepted. They want to blend in, to fit in well with the community. But I have asked them to take a righteous stand, a holy stand against the principlaties of darkness in their community.

It is time to put away fear of what others might think or do. It is time to take a stand. Stand for all that you believe in. Raise up standard of righteousness in your home and in your community.

What have you done with all I have given to you? What have you done with all that I have told you to do? Why will you not stand up and be who I have called you to be? Or will you remain blended with everyone else; with no one really knowing who they really are because they are pieces of so many people?

Know what it is that you believe this day. Know what it is that you are to take a stand on. Know who you are in me, who I have made you to be. Do not let fear of not being accepted keep you camouflaged. Your acceptance, your love is in me. I am your strength. I am all you need. I am looking for a people that will rise up and be who I have called you to be. Take a stand. I have given to you all power and strength and authority.

Rise up sons and daughters of God. Rise up and be counted. Rise up, take up the authority I have given each one of you; and each one take back from the enemy the ground he has stolen from you. If you all individually do that he cannot stand. Rise up, put on my breastplate of righteousness."

I kept seeing how hunters wear orange when they go hunting so they can be seen by other hunters, and so they are not mistaken for an animal. That is kind of thing I was seeing here. But I saw him putting on his people a red vest, representing his blood. He is telling us that there is safety in his blood. Each one of us needs to put that vest on individually each day. We cant lean on another's know-how and strength or courage. Every single one of us needs to put on this vest and know our place in him. We much each individually know how much for our lives that blood covers.

Rise up, Take a stand, be all he has made you to be.

In Christ

The Anointing (God’s Power Through God’s People)

Clay Sikes

“My anointing is in your life. You must sense it and know it is there in order to use it. My anointing releases my power and my power breaks yokes and destroys hindrances aligned against you. My anointing has the capacity to take you much farther than your capabilities allow, however, you must recognize you have it before it will work in your life. Receive my anointing through this word by faith: Appropriate it fully in your life today. My anointing is available in any area you have the capacity to receive it. Things change when the anointing is present. My anointing releases my power. Refuse to lose when the anointing is present: No power can stand in the face of it. My anointing releases your capacity to increase in every area of your life.

I am grieved when you attempt to accomplish things in your own strength and ability. My people perish (fail in their task) for a lack of (spiritual revelation) knowledge (of my anointing). Awaken in this hour to my strong desire to empower my people with my ability. Accomplish this by receiving my power through my anointing in your life.

My joy is your strength. Begin to thank me for my joy within you whether you feel it or not. As my joy arises within you, so too will sense the anointing. Stay focused on my joy that produces the anointing which produces your victory. Praise and thanksgiving produce the joy, which enables the anointing to provide you with victory.”

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I pondered this word, the Lord took me to Ephesians 3:7, "I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the working of his power."

God's power is at work within us. The definition of power used in this scripture is miraculous power, ability, abundance, mighty deed, worker of miracles, power, strength, mighty wonderful work. Work here means effectual, powerful, from a fixed position - be mighty in, show forth self, work (effectually in). We can conclude from these scriptures, God's power is available for God's work.

God's work extends far beyond our religious thinking, into our work, our play and activities, as well as our daily relationships. For those of us who work full time in secular jobs, we can expect and receive the anointing to complete our daily task. God's anointing is available to anyone who does God's will.

The Blessing of Revival

Linda Patterson

Fix your eyes upon Me. Come into that secret place with Me. Rest and abide in Me. I alone am your source of strength, power and provision. It is a day to pour forth My power. The true source of power can only be found in Me. I must have righteous vessels to pour My power through. I require clean hands and a pure heart. Hearts that have been yielded to Me, softened and prepared are required for this next move of My Spirit. Revival fires will burn as my power and provision are poured forth across the land. Fiery messengers rise up from the ashes of obscurity. It is time to light the flame. It is time to pour forth My blessing. The Blessing of Revival!

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalm 24: 3-5

Ministering To the "Children"

Robin O'Hare

This is a word that the Lord gave me yesterday as my husband and I sought His direction for our lives for this next year (and after):

So the Lord's anger was aroused against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation that had done evil in the sight of the Lord was gone. Numbers 32:13

Adonai rejected the adults and chose the children to become the bearers and receivers of the promise (Canaan). I believe that in this day, aside from the remnant which remains, God has chosen the children to become the bearers and receivers of His promise to the American Church. This includes both the chronological children and the spiritual children (baby Christians and those who are as yet unsaved and unchurched).

The Church has become complacent and corrupt, unwilling to hear what the Lord wants to say, unwilling to change their lifestyles in order to imitate Christ. 2 Tim. 4:3-4 (NKJ): "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; [4] and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." Churches, particularly large and mega-churches, are growing because the pastors are unable (and unwilling?) to hold their congregations accountable for even the basest behavior. Christians are allowed to be self-indulgent, greedy, gluttonous, rude, mean, and practicing sinners without consequence and without confrontation. We have gone from a Church which requires holy living to a Church which indulges ITSELF in sinful behaviors, reasoning that this will attract the world to the gospel.

For the past two years, the Lord has cloistered me in a ministry with children (particularly children of non-churched parents) and new believers. I couldn't understand why. But now I'm beginning to. New believers and children are our only hope of the future. This current churched generation has turned its back on God and hardened its heart to His commandments. Their desire to live in Egypt is so strong that they are unwilling to give up their sin. (I pray for God's mercy on them).

I would encourage every pastor, every prophet, every minister of God to search their hearts to see if God is not also calling them to this ripe mission field of children and new believers. I know that most churches count these areas of ministry as the low of the low (and most "professional" ministers aspire to "greater" things), but I believe that this is where God would have us work, would have us invest our time and resources. The children are still impressionable; they are looking for a strong cause, a reason to live. Jesus Christ is that reason!

Eagles on the Storm

By Chad Taylor

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the word... (Acts 8:4).

For the winds of controversy and the storms of adversity shall carry my prophets to the four corners of the earth with My glory. The winds of conflict will drive them from one city to the next and My glory and power shall surely confirm them.

But when they persecute you in this city, flee into another... (Matthew 10:23).

They will flee from one city to the another impregnating that region and area with My purpose and power towards harvest. A great spiritual awakening will follow in their steps causing the day of the Lord to draw near.

Put you in the sickle for the harvest is ripe...Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision, for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision... (Joel 3:13-14).

My eagles will land only where My wind blows them says the Lord. They will learn to eat the hidden manna that I will feed them. They will no longer rely upon the hand of man and their offerings to sustain them. Their inheritance will be of the Lord.

"The wind blows where it wants, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell from where it came or where it is going. So is everyone that is born of the Spirit... (John 3:8).

The Elijah spirit will precede their coming and confirm their going. The hearts of the fathers will return to the children and My church will now be one. The false prophecies and flatteries of men will be cast down to the ground as stubble underneath their feet and the words of My mouth shall be established. Drought and rain shall follow them, judgement and righteousness confirm them.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord..." (Malachi 4:5).

Lamentations 2:19...

For My Adornment

Jo Spangler

Your people, all of them righteous, will possess the land forever. They are a shoot of My own planting, a work of My own hands for my adornment. Isaiah 60:21

They will be called trees of righteousness, planted by the Lord for His adornment. Isaiah 61:3b

11, Storm-battered city, distressed and desolate, now I shall set your stones in the finest mortar, and lay your foundations with sapphire;

12, I shall make your battlements of red jasper and your gates of garnet; all your boundary stones will be precious jewels. Isaiah 54

I was singing Isaiah to the Lord this morning beginning with Chapter 54 and when I got to Chapter 60 I saw something I had never seen before. The words "for my adornment" just stuck out. And the next chapter had "for His adornment." And the Lord spoke in my spirit that Zion is His adornment, the people of Zion, His righteous ones. He wears them even as we wear adornment. He wears US. He is in us, wearing US as His adornment. Phenomenal, isn't it?20

I was dumbstruck with the implications of this and immediately chapter 54 came to mind. The Lord promises the new Jerusalem that her stones, foundations, battlements, gates and boundaries will be set in precious jewels. That's us!!!! He puts us on like we put on our treasured ring or pendant from spouse or mother. Remember how careful we are when we wear those things? We guard it and protect it and make sure nothing happens to it because it is so precious to us. We are like that to the Lord. He guards us and protects us and makes sure nothing happens to us. Precious in this sense doesn't mean worldly, monetary value. It means the value to us for what the thing represents. We cannot begin to understand the value God places on us, we must believe it though!!!!

How I needed to know this about the Lord! How I needed to know that He thinks I am precious and that He is wearing me with utmost care and concern. How I needed to know that He is using all of His precious Ones to build the gates and battlements and boundaries of the New Jersualem. We are precious stones!!!! Isn't that amazing?20

It brings to mind Psalm 116.15, " Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." I have always heard this preached at funerals, earthly ones that is. But I think this verse is meant for God's righteous ones. When we die to the flesh it is a precious thing in the sight of the Lord. He can then wear us all the time. I remember something about Gideon and the Spirit wrapping Himself in Gideon. This was the Old Testament version of what God is doing now. Hallelujah!!!! What an eye-opener!!!

Let us praise God for His great mercy and unfailing love toward us. We can't possibly comprehend it but we can praise Him and thank Him for it. We can begin to think of ourselves as the adornment of God which He wears on this earth. What an awesome thought, we are so special to God!!!!!!!!!!

Too Timid To Tell the Truth

A. W. Tozer

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. --Acts 4:13

The contemporary moral climate does not favor a faith as tough and fibrous as that taught by our Lord and His apostles. The delicate, brittle saints being produced in our religious hothouses today are hardly to be compared with the committed, expendable believers who once gave their witness among men. And the fault lies with our leaders. They are too timid to tell the people all the truth. They are now asking men to give to God that which costs them nothing.

Our churches these days are filled (or one-quarter filled) with a soft breed of Christian that must be fed on a diet of harmless fun to keep them interested. About theology they know little. Scarcely any of them have read even one of the great Christian classics, but most of them are familiar with religious fiction and spinetingling films. No wonder their moral and spiritual constitution is so frail. Such can only be called weak adherents of a faith they never really understood. That Incredible Christian, 76.

"How much more true this is today, Lord, than in Tozer's day! How long before we see a movement of the Holy Spirit to give a depth and seriousness again in our pulpits? Send it, I pray, for Jesus' sake. Amen."
