Soar as Eagles

Musa Opiyo

Watch now as I release you to new heights. For it is an invitation to come up higher in Me. For in this day I am releasing My people from the anchors and weights that have held them, and they shall know a new liberty in My Spirit. As you rise up and take flight and soar as eagles, as you hear the clarion call of your God to spread your wings and let the wind of My Spirit carry you to My Holy Mountain, beware of the vultures that have been sent to distrsct you and sow seeds of discord among you for the purpose of stopping your flight.

For many of them shall gather above you in the sky and cause as it were a temporary darkness for the purpose of bringing fear. Yet My Warriors, fear not. For you are My victorious army of men and women, boys and girls who know that greater is he who is in you than he that is in the world. As these spirits approach, I say arise, take flight and let the glory of the Lord shine upon you.

As the eagles high pitches screech is feared and known so the enemy and his forces of darkness shall scatter at the sound of praise on your lips. For My light shall break through this fog of darkness and dissipate all that would hinder you from moving foward. Arise, and let the glory of the Lord shine through you.

Arise, Shine; for thy light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1

God Is Doing a New Thing In His Church

David Wilkerson

The church as we know it today began with repentance. When Peter preached the Cross at Pentecost, thousands came to Christ. This new church was made up of one body, consisting of all races, filled with love for one another. Its corporate life was marked by evangelism, a spirit of sacrifice, even martyrdom.

This wonderful beginning reflects God's words to Jeremiah: "I planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed" (Jeremiah 2:21). Yet the Lord's next words describe what often happens to such works:

"How then are thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?" (2:21). God was saying, "I planted you right. You were mine, bearing my name and nature. But now you've turned degenerate."

What caused this degeneration in the church? It always has been, and will continue to be, idolatry. God is speaking of idolatry when he says to Jeremiah, "My people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit" (2:11).

Idolatry desolated Shiloh, it desolated the temple, and it has defiled the church of today. It is always the root cause behind God leaving an old thing to begin a new one.

In Ezekiel 14, certain elders came to the prophet to inquire of the Lord. They wanted to know, "What is God saying to his people today?" But the Lord told Ezekiel, "These men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?" (Ezekiel 14:3).

He was saying, in other words: "They've come here as if they're truly seeking me. But they're hiding wicked idols in their hearts. Why should I answer them?"

Most Christian teaching today identifies an idol as anything that comes between God's people and himself. It's that which draws us away from him. Yet that's only a partial description of idolatry. After all, the elders who approached Ezekiel weren't kept away by their idols.

Idolatry has to do with a much deeper heart issue. The truth is, idolatry can run rampant in God's house but remain totally unseen. That's what the Lord meant when he said these elders had a "stumbling block of their iniquity before their face" (Ezekiel 14:3). The stumbling block is any doctrine that justifies an idol. And it blinds God's people to their sin.

That's exactly what has happened in the church today. The number-one idol among God's people isn't adultery, pornography or alcohol. It's a much more powerful lust. What is this idol? It's a driving ambition for success. And it even has a doctrine to justify it.

The idolatry of being successful describes many in God's house today. These people are upright, morally clean, full of good works. But they've set up an idol of ambition in their hearts, and they can't be shaken from it.

Tragically, this was the same driving spirit behind Baal and Molech: to prosper and be successful. And today this spirit has polluted the gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide. It presents itself as a spirit of blessing, but it's a perversion of the blessing that God intends for his church. And it's shipwrecking the faith of millions.

This spirit also smacks of postmodernism. One of the tenets of postmodernism is that the community bestows on you your purpose and worth. Simply put, your success and acceptance are measured by the world's standards. As a result, many Christians measure their self-worth by their career, their possessions, their paycheck.

Now postmodern theology is creeping into the church's leadership. Pastors and evangelists are buying the lie that their peers determine how successful they are. This is why success in church work has come to mean having massive attendance, large buildings and a fat budget. And it's why ministers are compelled to drive themselves and their congregations to achieve these things.

I tell you, this isn't the church that Jesus Christ is coming back to take as his bride. This postmodern, materialistic, flesh-driven institution has grown old and corrupt. And it's in the throes of death even now.

Many young pastors all over the world sense this. They're fed up with the old thing, with its bickering and denominational infighting. They want nothing to do with it. They've rejected the drive for bigness and notoriety. Instead, they're turning back to the centrality of Christ, back to seeking God, back to hungering for truth. And they sense a fresh new work in the air.

What is the new thing that God is doing in his church?

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them (Isaiah 42:9)

God is about to do a new thing. And this new work will be so glorious, it's going to cause his people to praise him like never before:

Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof (42:10)

God is telling us, "Let all my people worldwide sing my praises. Let me hear a new song from the sailors at sea, from people in every nation, from all the lands of the earth."

We know that in these last days, Satan is coming down to earth in a fierce rage (see Revelation 12:12). He's full of great wrath because he knows his time is short. And he's going to send forth a flood of iniquity on the church. But God declares, "Let my people know the Lion of Judah is coming down, with all the power of heaven. The Redeemer is coming to Zion!"

Don't think for a minute that God will allow Satan to take control of his church and ravage his children. The gates of hell will not prevail against Christ's body. And I believe the Lord is on his way to Zion right now to visit his people.

Just as he did with Sodom, the Lord is coming to purge. And this time of purging will begin with his church. Right now, the Lord is beginning to burn up the chaff in his house. And he's going to do a new thing. Scripture tells us, "The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies" (Isaiah 42:13).

Why is Jesus coming with such a mighty roar? And what will he be crying? He's going to cry out in jealousy over his people. You see, our Lord is in a jealous state over his church right now. And here is his jealous cry: "I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once" (42:14).

What does this mean? Why would Jesus cry like a woman in travail? The Lord is telling us he's about to give birth to something new. While Satan is on the rampage, deceiving multitudes, God is telling his people, "A new, holy thing is being birthed under Satan's nose. This is one church he can't deceive. It is the prevailing church that's without spot or wrinkle."

Up to now, the Lord has been silent. He has restrained his anger while false doctrines, false prophets, and wolves in sheep's clothing have shipwrecked multitudes in Christ's body. But now God is letting his voice be known. He's telling us:

"Shepherds have turned my house into a den of iniquity. Yet I have held my peace. Materialistic preachers have corrupted my church all over the world with abominable doctrines. Yet I have kept still.

I've been silent while mega-churches have removed the offense of the Cross from their congregations. I've restrained myself as complacent shepherds have allowed comedians and entertainers to bring lightness and frivolity into my holy house.

"But no more! Now I'm stirred up. And I'm coming down to my house, to clean it up before I return for my bride. Be warned, I am coming to you with a holy jealousy. And I'm going to destroy all these false doctrines. I will bankrupt every robber and thief who has filled my pulpits. I'll dry up all their sources and cause their rivers of money to run dry."

I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.... They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods (Isaiah 42:15, 17)

Beloved, this is the new thing God is doing in his church. He's saying, "I will destroy and devour every ministry that's of flesh, hype and materialism. And I'm going to raise up shepherds after my own heart, faithful servants who know me. I will destroy all false gospels, and confuse and put to shame every false teacher.

"Yet I won't forsake those millions of sincere people who were deluded by false doctrines. They didn't know better. And now they're going to hear my pure gospel. When they do, they'll repent and be ashamed of the shallow, frivolous gospel that led them astray. I'm going to lead them into truth."

I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them (42:16)

What an incredible promise. We see now why Isaiah prophesies, "Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice...let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands" (42:11-12).

Dear saint, God is doing a new thing right now. He's calling his people once again to forsake every idol and make their habitation the Rock, Jesus Christ. I urge you, be ready to obey his cry: "Let the inhabitants of the Rock sing

Be Reconciled To Me

Mary Lloyd

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; but if it bears thorns and briars, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.

But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labour of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

For men indeed swear by the greater, and an oath for confirmation is for them an end of all dispute. Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the immutability of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews 6:4-20

Warnings and encouragements to the church.

You do not know how you hurt Me when you run after other gods. You break faith with the Husband who loves and cherishes you.

You ask, what other gods?
I say everything that your heart is greedy for besides Me; every pursuit you have that pushes Me away; every self-assertion that makes you demand your rights.

I gave up all My rights for you. Do you not yet know how much I love you? Would you have Me go through it all over again? Do you even now refuse to feel the hot love of My Spirit seeking to sanctify that part of you that belongs to Me by My covenant and through My loving commitment to you?

Do you not feel My sorrow in your belly even now when you show no mercy; when you turn My loved ones away in need; when you show no love?

If it were only sin that keeps you away from Me, haven't I made provision for that? You may always bring your sin to Me and I will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Do not, beloved, ever for one second think that I cannot look upon you because of your sin. You are beautiful to Me! Oh, how I want you to know that I treasure you! If it were sin alone, let us deal with it now, make an end of it, and go on.

But I cannot repair the damage that is being done by your heart seeking another beside Me, by your choosing to love another more than Me. Mistakes are made, they can be forgiven. Mistakes will continue to be made even while you are still seeking Me.

But search yourself honestly beloved, and know, while there is yet time, what place the bride of your heart seeks to be in, and who she wishes to marry. Where is your hope? Where is the anchor of your soul? Oh how I long to be knit together with you in that bond of love befitting the Bridegroom and His bride.

So turn back in tenderness to Me again beloved, My cherished one. I have promised I will not forsake you. I am waiting for you to encircle Me with your arms. I am waiting for you to receive Me again, to let Me spend My love upon you and within you as I once did. I have waited all this time!

We will rebuild together all the ruins of our relationship; we will again plant our garden together, sowing new seed; we will watch as New Life springs forth, and in due time, harvest the fruit of our labours, as one.

But I will not force you. I will not violate you. I cannot violate My own promise to you of your free will. It stands even now.

You choose.

When that day comes, like a thief in the night, will you be facing Me with a heart full of love? Or will your heart be turned away as it were to the wall, and to the gods of your own making?

You choose.

I love you passionately, now and forever.

Don't break My heart.

Birthing and Intercession

My people, as you enter into My presence, My Spirit will overshadow many of you in various ways.

Some of you will began to feel My heart and My cry.

Some of you will even feel weak physically and drain out emotionally.

Some of you will feel dryness in your hearts.

Some of you will not feel anything special going on at all.

There will be different manifestation but it is the work of the same Holy Spirit in your midst.

I tell you today.

Do not fight against what you are going through these seasons.

Many of what you are going through are ACTS OF PROPHETIC INTERCESSION and many of you are being called to stand in the gap and to live these out.

Not all will be going through the birthing travails, some of you have been called to assists those who are birthing by your support and presence and your prayers, STAND BY THOSE WHO ARE BIRTHING.

Be careful not to view what is happening in your midst through the wrong eyes.

For the enemy will tempt you with confusion and will attack you and cause you to focus on yourself.

He will try to deceive you to hold back. He will cause you to doubt your standing before me by making you feel and think that what you are feeling and experiencing are results of something that you have done wrong.
But I am moving in a greater perspective. And what you are birthing is more than just for you.

Don't hold back, let go . . . . . . For I am birthing something powerful in the Spiritual but soon all these will become manifest in the physical.

Draw continually upon My Resources for they are unlimited.

Never isolate yourself away from those that I have send to be supporting you for this season.

The Lord gave me these words from ISAIAH 66: 7 - 14 as a confirmation.

"Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son.

Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things?

Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.
Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?
Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?
Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her.
For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; You will drink in her overflowing abundance."

For this is what the Lord says:
"I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees.

As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.

When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass; the hands of the Lord will be made known to his servants, but his fury will be shown to his foes."

Father, bless your words and let Your Spirit speaks to each heart that read this prophetic word.

Open Gate

Jeanne Kruchowski

Behold My children, I am opening a Gate that no man or power can shut.

As My prophets stand on the high places and declare My word, so the Gates to cities shall be opened up.

For I have told you I would give you what you asked for, and those of you who have asked Me for cities shall receive them.

The gods of this world have no power over My prophets, for great is the power I am placing on those who have been stripped and purified.

Only go to the high places of your adversaries and cry aloud My kingdom is coming to this earth!

And no sorcery or witchcraft or demon shall be able to stand against you for as it was in the days of Elijah so it is now. The hour draweth nigh.

The Golden Vase

Greg Bachnik

I have purposed that you be made whole! And everything you have been through, the worst things, the best things, like My cross, are to be supernaturally transformed into gold by My hands. For I will take that gold and like clay, work it perfectly into every crack, every hole, every fissure, to complete you, a vessel fit for the master's use. You will no longer be tricked into seeing your flaws, but transformed to see the gold, what I have made.

Rejoice, for the promise is at hand. The promise of broken people made whole -- so whole you become usable. You will be filled with love, liquid love, God's love, that when the world looks it will see Jesus and His love. And they will say, "My he/she has changed. He/she used to be such a mess but now is so beautiful." And the gold in the cracks and holes and fissures will be so beautiful and so attractive, and so humble, and so attainable to them.

For it is no longer you who lives, but Me who lives in you and through you.

Just Do It!

Debra & Marvin Westbrook

These are the words that kept echoing through my being over the past several months as God has sent us abroad to minister in various locations. All the words that the Lord has been giving to us over the past few years have shouted loud and clear to us to ARISE, ASCEND, COME UP HIGHER, RISE UP......................

This is a clear call that now is the time to step forth, to go forth into the inheritance and promises that God has clearly set before us for such a time as this.

"Just do it!" is what I hear the Lord clearly saying to us at Rivers of Eden and to many others in the Body of Christ. It is time to merge our words with action to advance the Kingdom of God throughout the earth today. As we have traveled I see people paralyzed by pretense, assumption, fear and every evil device that the enemy is using to oppose and halt the forward progress of the Body of Christ. So the Lord says "Just do it! Only Believe!"

We are being catapulted into new levels of faith, unprecedented levels of faith so that the glory may belong to the Lord, totally to the Lord. The path set before us is laid down by the Sprit of God and will require steps of obedience in individual lives and ministries so our faith will rest upon God alone and not man. For with man, this is all impossible but with God nothing is impossible. Great great grace is being poured forth on high to accomplish God's will on earth as it is in heaven.

In fact, these levels of faith are being undergirded by the distinct and clear promises of the Word of God that have been deposited into our spirit over the past 5 years. The time is now to see that these words have a tangible expression in our lives for such a time as this, when we choose to move out of the natural and step out into the supernatural realm of God. In other words, as we step out on the promises in belief that God will do what He says He will do, the ground under our feet will be firmly set to walk into a new realm with Him. We shall walk on the Living Word led by the Spirit of God, for He is indeed a light under our feet, guiding and leading the way into the great unknown.

This will surely be an adventure for:

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Cor 2:9 (KJV)

Those words "entered into" take a deeper meaning when looked at more closely. They mean to go up, to spring up, to rise................can we see clearly what God is saying?

We are meant to rise up, to ascend, and to move into that which is ready to be revealed to us when we step out in faith, believing in the God of the Universe to supply all that we need for the times that are upon us, for such a time as this.

Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a time for everything. Yes, we must draw close to God in the secret place for that is a divine requirement for strategy and His plans and purposes. Most importantly, this place, this secret place is the origination point for incredible intimacy which moves us into clear authority, going where the Spirit leads us into higher heights and deeper depths in God.

Launch out and cast your net on the other side of the boat for it is there that many of us will reap a harvest. On the other side are the suddenlies. On the other side, creative ideas exist which are hidden in the heart of God ready to be revealed by a people of faith. Do not let fear sideline you into mediocre Christianity. But, don't let zeal override wisdom assuming everything you hear is from God. Draw near to God so as He draws near to you and you shall hear the whisper of your Lord. This whisper will reverberate within your very being with a clear sound of glory that will come forth through you as living waters.....................

Step past the limitations placed upon you by past experience, past fears, religious bondages, lack of money, health that may appear to be failing and simply believe, only believe.

Now, I know that I am preaching to myself in this word. Of that I am sure for in this ministry we are being catapulted far beyond our ability to understand or even try to figure it out. So, we have decided to trust God in His unfailing love and Just Do It! God has set before us a great effectual door of ministry and He is doing that for many of you, no matter where you live or what He has called you to do. The answer is the same, "Just Do It!" Step by step laid out upon the obedience of your walk over the past several years, God is calling you forward into this great unknown into a marvelous adventure with Him. Trust Him and lean not into your own understanding.
