Come Forth Elijah!

David Apel

Come forth Elijah! Come forth from the wilderness from which I have hidden you. Come forth from the dessert of affliction by which I have proven you and tested you. Come forth from the rocks and caves and mountains. For the days of listening to the wind and fire shall be over. For you shall stand before Me as did Moses My friend. You shall stand with great boldness and with signs and wonders that have never been conceived or even imagined. New things shall come to your hands and through your mouth. For like Me you shall be a person of Creation. You shall not be satisfied with the norm. You shall speak forth and a new creation shall form and the walls of religion shall fall by the wayside.

And do not be afraid of those that stood in the forefront of this move of Mine and those that have testified of their own greatness. For they have truly sold themselves short. They have settled for that which is in their own hand and not sought that which I have in My hand for them. For that which is in My hand is a perfect work, but that which is in their hand is tainted by their own desires and experiences. But you, My true servants, those that have waited patiently for Me, those that have allowed for Me to place you upon My wheel and work you and form you as I desire. Those that have not kicked against Me. You shall come forth as My true and selected ones. Do not fear the wrath of man, because My hand shall be on you greatly. And though you feared that none would take notice of you. I tell you, do not seek the glory of man, for you shall truly be as Elijah and Jezebel shall seek to bring you down. For I have formed in you a heart of a warrior. I have trained you for battle. For the battle that is soon to come forth. And your only joy shall be in the battle. Your only joy shall be the smell of smoke and fire. For I have prepared you for this. I have kept you from the desires of the things of this world. I have fed you with locusts and starved you to be hungry for this day. I have brought your flesh under my subjection so that it no longer cries for the comforts of this world and the desire of mammon is gone. You, my true servants, seek only My will and My anointing and My desires.

For you have waited for a long time for this day and the preparation has been difficult, but remember this, you have never been alone. For I have hidden away others in the caves, just like you, with the same desires and purpose. So come forth now Elijah. Come forth from your hiding.

A Chosen Generation

Bill Burns

You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a people whom I have prepared for the end of the age. You are a people that I am bringing through the fire, a people I am anointing with My Word and with the power of My rain, says the Lord. I shall come indeed and find a people who care for Me, a people who love Me, a people who will be faithful to Me, a people who will deny the enemy and overcome all of the works positioned against them. I have come to prepare your hearts as a chosen people because you have a hunger and a desire for the kingdom of God and the things of the Spirit, and you desire My manifest presence. You are those who have asked, and you shall receive. You have sought, and shall find. You have desired to know Me, to walk with Me, and to fulfill My purposes.

I say again, you are a chosen generation, a generation that I have given gifts to, a generation that is being prepared, a generation that I am revealing My mysteries to, a generation that shall walk in the fullness of My anointing, the same anointing that David walked in -- that of prophet, priest and king. Rise to this calling and receive the blessing of the chosen, which will bring you forth in My kingdom in a new way. You will have the full assurance of heart that I am for you, and I will never leave you nor forsake you even to the very end of this age. I am performing My will in you, through you, and around you. Fear not, and do not receive the lies of the enemy. Refuse discouragement, and refuse to be dismayed, says the Lord. Victory is assured.

Relating To God By Reaching the World

Sammy Tippit

Occasionally, I'm asked about the timing of revival and evangelism. Does revival take place in our lives and then we become effective witnesses for Christ? Or do we first begin to share our faith in Christ and that results in revival in our lives? The answer to those questions is simply "no" but "yes." Before you become confused, let me explain. Often a renewing of our faith begins with our understanding that we have become apathetic in our walk with God, or a keen realization that we have not been living the way we ought to live. That's the first step towards revival. We'll never be able to share our faith with others unless we get honest and repent of our sins. God is a holy God, and we can never become intimate in our relationship with Him while there are things in our lives that displease Him. For example, in Psalms 51, David confessed his sins. After he had become totally honest with God, he asked God to cleanse him and renew him in his walk with God. Only at that moment does he say, "Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you" (Psalms 51:13). David needed to experience a personal revival and then he would be enabled to reach others with the good news of God's love. He understood that he could never be effective in his outreach until he was right in His fellowship with God. Like David, we must first confess our sins, and then we will be able to reach others with the message of Christ.

However, part of our sin can be an unwillingness to share our faith with others. We must also understand that we cannot stay in our "holy huddles" and expect God to send revival. To a certain extent, revival is dependent upon our obedience to the commission of His Son, Jesus. He told us to go into the whole world and tell of the good news of God's love for sinners. How can we walk intimately with Him if we disobey His commands? It's impossible. Often revival begins within us when we begin to reach out and share our faith with others.

Revival has, most often, come on the wings of being broken over our sins or becoming broken over the sins of the world around us. It's not an either/or answer to the question of when renewal takes place within us. David also said in the Psalms, "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise" (Psalm 51:17). Revival comes when we are broken before God. It doesn't matter if it's our hearts being broken over our sins or over the sins of a lost world. God's heart is touched by broken hearts. He heals and revives broken hearts. The answer to my original question is a both/and answer. We must deal with the sins in our lives and, at the same time, we need to have a passionate desire to reach the world with the message of Christ. Reaching others is the result of revival in our lives and it's also the reason for revival in our lives. If we are going to have an intimate victorious walk with Christ, then we must reach out to others with the wonderful message of God's love for sinners.

I Am Raising Up Servers

Patsy Shelton

I had a dream, and in a portion of the dream the Lord showed me "Servers." They had on uniforms, and name tags, and they were being trained to serve food, and wait tables.

And the Lord said:

I am raising up Servers, and these are those that will serve manna from heaven to My people. They are in training, and are being prepared to serve new manna from heaven. And when their preparation is complete, I will send them forth, the water that they will serve will be cool and refreshing, and it will quench the thirst of those that are dry and parched.

The manna that they will serve is the food of purity and truth, and it will satisfy hungry hearts. Living water will flow out of their bellies.

The drink and the manna that they will serve to My people will bring revival to the land. It will dispel the error and deception that has even caused My people to be led astray, and led into destruction. And everywhere this water and manna are served it will bring new life, even to those that are perishing for lack of the new thing that I am doing.

I will breakthrough the old, and I will bring forth the new. How will you discern that this manna is truly from heaven, and not more error and deception? Because it will bring joy unspeakable and full of glory.

And in it you will find the answers to the questions of the ages, your spirit will soar, and your soul will be satisfied. And the Spirit of Truth, even the Holy Spirit, will bear witness with your spirit. You will know, that you know, that you know.

How will you recognize these Servers? They will have servant's hearts, and wear the garment of humility. They will not need to impress, or be impressed. They will seek out those that "the church" has shunned, and turned away. They will bring healing to the nations, and not only will they bear fruit, but everyone that they serve will bear fruit.

I will send them to those that mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, and they will be trees of righteousness, My planting. They will build the old wastes, they will raise up the former desolations, and they will repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. They will raise up the foundations of many generations; and they will be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorers of paths to dwell in.

My Word is a lamp unto your feet, showing you not only how to walk, but revealing to you the path that I have ordained for you to walk. And these Servers that I am raising up will help you find your way, and help to put you on the proper path. The path that I have ordained for you, even the path to fulfilling your destiny, and their focus will be on equipping you to fulfill your destiny.

Their eyes will be on Me, and their purpose will be to serve you.

Freedom Through Humility

CAPRO Togo

He has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts…but has lifted up the humble Luke 1:51,52

What an insight Mary gives us here about the ways of God. God exalts the humble man. It is only those who humble themselves under the mighty hands of God that he lifts up in due season. But he scatters the proud.

Humility has a lot to do with the way we think of ourselves. Humility is not looking down on oneself. That comes from an inferiority complex. And a lack of proper self-esteem leads to purposelessness. Nor is humility the seeking for men to look up to one. That is pride. Rather humility is the ability to look rightly at oneself, to be able to see oneself the way God sees one.

This was what Paul was talking about in Romans 12:3 “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. “ Thinking of ourselves more highly than we ought is pride, but soberly appreciating our worth according to who we are before God is humility. Dake, commenting on this verse, says humility is to take a sane look at oneself.

When the king of Babylon looked up at his kingdom and thought, “see all that my hands has wrought”- he was not taking a sane look at things. He was proud. If he had soberly looked at himself he would have confessed that it wasn’t his “hands that hath wrought it”. It was all through grace. He should have rather thought, “See all that God has done for me”. Of course it is a little easier to think, “See all God has done through me”. O how we love to share some of the glory! But that is not the sanest way to look at things.

Pride is the deception that by ourselves we can do something. It is that self-confidence that removes dependence from God. It is dangerous because in truth without Jesus we can do nothing. We can do nothing of worth to God.

We can never become whole if we walk on in pride or inferiority complex. Only the humble man can attain to wholeness. This man will be free from the heavy burden of living to impress others and always measuring himself by others. He will be free from the hypocrisy that coming from always seeking to present the best side of oneself. He will be free because his goal will be to impress God. Are you free?

The Sink Hole

Inez Brinkley

The Lord gave me a vision that my family and I were in our house and the house was over a sink hole. We could see the house slipping into this huge mud hole. I could even see the house as the floors cracked and we had to watch where we walked as we tried to salvage what we could before it all went under. I was grabbing things and discarding a lot, looking for the really important things to take. I knew I couldn't take much and I was letting go of a lot of things that I have hung on to for years. Personal possessions that had meant so much, were now just clutter to sift through to get to the important things to save. At one point, my husband fell into the mud and it totally covered him until he was out of sight. I reached my hand down into the gooey mud and grabbed his hand and pulled him out.

The Lord has shown me that even if our life, our ministry, seems to be floundering and going under, just salvage what you can and go on. He is bringing about a change in the way we serve, the way we think, the way we act and He wants us to let go of things, trappings, that are tied to the old ways. He is moving us from unsure, uneven ground to solid ground. Even if you have sunk down in the mud until it completely covers your head, God will reach down and pull you out. Don't lose faith. For the Father who called us all to serve is faithful and true.

Shake Off All Wickedness

Yolanda Ballard

Watch and pray that you don't fall prey to the enemy, for these are perilous times, and the enemy is going about as a roaring lion seeking all who he can devour, but I tell you this day to stand strong with your head covered with the power of the blood of the Lamb of God. Yes, cover your mind and your heart so that no impure thoughts could go through and take root in your heart. Watch and pray that you don't fall prey to the enemy. Examine your heart and see if there are any impure motives behind what you do for I look at the heart and not at the outward actions.

Teach the younger ones by setting a good example of love and righteousness for you are the epistle that they read daily. You can quote the scripture to them, but what they really see is your actions for they speak louder. Once you set a good example, cover them with a blanket of love, and encourage them. Tell them who they are in Me, that they are warriors of light, and that all darkness is under their feet.

Show them the weapons that they have and how to use them. Build them up at a young age on how to stand strong and to be independent in Me, that they don't need no man to teach them My word and My will. Help them to seek Me in the scripture, and teach them how to pray for these are perilous times, and they need to be build up on the truth of My word, for the enemy is going about seeking who he can devour.

Concerning relationships be bold in My love. Cast down vain imaginations, and cover your heart with My truth. Watch what you speak forth concerning your brother. Be a vessel I can use to build up and edify, to exhort, not to tear down and discourage. Speak truth to one another not what you see. Every idle word that is spoke forth will be judged. Cover your heart so that the enemy can not plant poisonous darts within and cause division, for you need to bind together and stand strong against the wicked one. If he can't attack from without, he will fight from within.

Let out a victory shout, and rise up and take the land. Worship Me in the beauty of holiness. Escape the clutches of the evil one once and for all. Run and leap and shout---be free! Don't let any one hold you back. Spread My word so all can see My love and grace, for I died so all can have life. Today is the day salvation. Choose this day who you will serve. Will it be Me or will it be the pride of life which is idolatry. Humble yourself before My throne of grace, and I will lift you up.

Be clean in mind, soul and spirit. Be free and walk the crucified life. Let My resurrection power engulf you and guide you into all truth. Cast off all deception. Be discerning for these are perilous times, and the enemy is attacking the leaders with compromise trying to water down My word to justify the error of their actions. They allow pride to keep them locked in the snare of the enemy. Deep down they know truth but won't admit it.

Don't sit under leadership who lie and say black is white and white is black. Speak out for truth. Do not lead the babes astray by what is allowed in My house. Take a stand and repent of your wicked ways for I am coming in judgment, and surely I start in My house. So I tell you this day to watch and pray and be bold. Stand for truth. Cast off all forms of wickedness, and rise up and take the land.

My Delight

Bryan Hupperts

Hi, SheepTrax!

How curious that the mighty omnipotent God is also the lover of our souls! We are the apple of his eye, the focus of his passion and desire. How easily we forget that we are his supreme delight. In my walk with Him, I like to take questions posed in Scripture and apply them to my life. A well-poised question can yield amazing insight! Consider this question concerning God’s delight found in Esther 6:6. "What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?”

Who does the King of kings delight to honor? The word delight has numerous shades of meaning. It means to be enraptured, to be captivated, to be gratified, to be enthralled, and to be filled with joy and pleasure. It is a word often used between lovers to describe their mutual love, and yet bears the mark of childlike wonder.

Delight comes from seeking after God with all our heart even as he secretly woos us drawing us unto himself. Job 33:26, “He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, for He restores to man His righteousness.” God takes great delight in granting forgiveness, in restoring us unto himself.

As it is with lovers, so it is with the lover of our soul. When God delights in you, he is enraptured with your presence. He is captivated by the sound of your call, of your songs of praise, of any attention you grant him. Is he not a jealous God? And while you sleep, he watches over you with joy and pleasure patiently waiting for you to awake to begin a new day with him. He says of his saints, in Psalms 16:3, "They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight." Like the Shulamite woman in Song of Solomon 2:3, “(We sit) down in his shade with great delight, and his fruit (is) sweet to (our) taste.”

God’s discipline and chastisement in our lives is rooted in his delight of us. Proverbs 29:17, “Correct your son, and he will give you rest; Yes, he will give delight to your soul.” Are we not the sons of God? Is not our Father in heaven? Proverbs 3:12, “For the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.”

We can bring delight to God when we yield to his Word and learn his ways. 2 Chronicles 17:6, “And his heart took delight in the ways of the LORD; moreover he removed the high places,” or, strongholds of sin and unrighteousness. When you make God your delight, and realize that you are his delight, anything that would taint your relationship becomes abhorrent to you and must be quickly dealt with and removed to keep your love unsullied.

And when circumstances and hostile people stand contrary to us, when we begin to stumble over our deepest fears, if we will but yield to the Comforter, the Spirit of Jesus, we can say with the Psalmist, in Psalms 94:19, “In the multitude of my anxieties within me, your comforts delight my soul.”

When the time of the End comes, and the earth is cast into great tribulation, we shall still walk in the delight of God. For those who reject God, who will not receive his delight, God promises that he will cause them to believe a lie. Isaiah 66:4, “So will I choose their delusions, and bring their fears on them; Because, when I called, no one answered, When I spoke they did not hear; But they did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight."

As for the saints of God, even when we do not know which way to turn, or which way to go, we still know to choose God as our delight, for he promises in Psalms 37:23, “The steps of a man are from the LORD, and he establishes him in whose way he delights.” He will guide those in whom he delights even if we do not understand the methods of his guidance!

You who delight in the Lord, you have many promises from Him to claim as your own. Psalms 37:4, “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.” In your delight of Him, he changes the very desires of your heart causing you to love his will and ways. His delights become your delights. Jeremiah 9:24, “Let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight.”

So to answer my original question from Esther 6:6, "What shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor?” Esther 6:9, “(He is arrayed in kingly robes and placed on the kings’ horse.) Let the robes and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most noble princes; let him array the man whom the king delights to honor, and let him conduct the man on horseback through the open square of the city, proclaiming before him: ‘Thus shall it be done to the man whom the king delights to honor.’"

In other words, when you delight in God, God will raise you up in due season and publicly display his delight of you before the world. Psalms 31:19, “Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up (stored up in secret) for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You (to lavishly display) in the presence of the sons of men!”

How deliciously delightful!
