These are the Times!

Joseph Todd

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

These are the times that I am shaking up My church and My people. As in the days of Abram I am telling My people to get out of their country, from all that is familiar to them and all that has made them worshippers of idols and of men so that I may show them a new land, bless them and make them a blessing to others with the word of their testimony.

These are the times I am judging My house and all hidden things are coming to light. The sins of the father's father that have passed down from the third and fourth generations will be exposed. For I demand holiness from those that lead My people, for is not My house a house of prayer and not a house of sin, or hypocrisy, or self-exaltation. There is but One who is exalted.

These are the times that for the testing of their faith so that they may have endurance and wisdom to help their times of trouble. Those call on Me, I will deliver them from the snare of the fowler and the fiery furnaces of affliction. These are spiritual tests so that they may develop character and be known as sons and daughters. There are too many illegitimate children in the land.

These are the times when even the elect will be deceived because they have pursued selfish ambitions and pride has overtaken them. They say, "see and hear what I have built, see and hear how I have prospered, see how my sufficiency is sufficient enough for me." They no longer fear Me but only the imminent loss of all that they have accumulated. They tell others that it is a work that I told them to begin; yet the truth is not in them, it was for self.

These are the times when I call all My children to humble themselves and sit at the feet of their Lord and Savior, because it's all about Him and not about them. It's never been about them and will always be about Him. Only when they die to self will He come alive in them. This is the revelation of the ages.

For brick and mortar doesn't impress Me, nor the size of a church's membership, but how many members and their pastors sit at the feet of Jesus. Nor do I look at their outward appearance but what comes out of the abundance of their heart. Does what they say and do lift up their Lord and Savior and glorify Me; or is it business as usual and still about self?

A Call To Action

Stephen Hanson

MT 7:24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. [25] The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. [26] But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. [27] The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

"The greater the revelation the greater the price is to Me. If someone wants to have a greater revelation, then they must understand that I will expect more of them. I have said in my word that "To whom much is given much is expected." I expect much more out of those who sit at my throne. If you sit at my throne daily, then out of that time spent with Me then I will expect that revelation to do things "in you." I have also said that "Blessed are you when you not only hear these words of mine, but when you do them." Of what benefit is it to have a revelation, and then walk away and not put it into practice? Truly, you need the revelation, but truly, you need even more the action. If I give you the revelation about your need to forgive someone else that you know, and then you know about this, but you don't do it, of what benefit then is the revelation? Truly, the greatest need in the body of Christ right now is to do the things that I've asked you to do. But it works hand-in-hand with my revelation."

"When will my church be built, you ask? When will we come unto maturity you wonder? When you put into practice the things that I've asked you to do. The need for prophetic vision is important and it must work together with those who are master builders in putting this into action. There is need for these things to be done. Plow the field and stir up the ground. Stir up your hearts and stir up the gifts that are within you. Now, have a battleplan for how to perform them. This will help bring my church unto maturity, and this will take you out of stagnancy."

2TH 1:11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.

"Now is the time for all of those who have come before Me to fulfill their destinies in Me. Now is the time for the work that I have done in you to be brought out into the open. Now is the time for those who have been in their caves to come out. Now is the time to stand before Me and hear your marching orders. This assembly has heard much, now what are you going to do with what you have heard? "

"A wind is blowing upon you. It is the wind of my purification. Let it blow into every crevice and let it blow into every heart. My wind will blow away the chaff. My wind will expose those things that are hidden in you. Judgment has come and it has begun with the household of God. My judgment will establish my true govenment in the church. My judgment will set things in order. But my judgment will also bring you to the place that I want you to be in Me."

Dave Howe

Remember Gideon. Remember what happened to Midian.

Stand firm and believe my promises – For the truth will prevail.

For I will make your enemies fight and destroy each other.

Yes their tents shall be broken down – For the angel of the Lord shall come among them with the fear of the Lord.

Let your light shine my people and do not fear.

Shall We Gather At the River?

Patrick Mcbane

This next move of God is a river glorious. It will run with a current of purity. It will run with abandon. It will run with clarity and understanding, says the Lord. This river flows from the Heart of God the Father. This river is cutting through every paradigm and current mindset that does not rely, call upon, defer, establish and promote the Son of God -Jesus.

This is My river, says the Lord. This is not man's river. That river is polluted and contaminated. This river is pure and everything grows that touches it and that it touches. This growth is not for personal gain but for eternal gain, says the Lord. This growth will come quickly and with great frequency. This is Kingdom growth.

This river washes clean. This river brings healing and strength, restoration and release. Shall we gather at the river? Yes. Yes. And yes again. Gather in My Presence, says the Lord. Come together at the river of life. For this is where I am.

I am current,(as in running, flowing, presently elapsing, occurring in or existing at the present time). Not past. This I am - current is today. Now is the time. Not yesterday, not even so far into the future that you find yourself preoccupied with what could be. Get into the current, the I am, the now, says the Lord. I must sweep over you and take you where I need you to be. No light, no lamp, no manufactured illumination is necessary. My Presence is where you need to be, says the Lord. I am here. Step toward the banks. The changeless God is about to change you.

I will mark you with the distinguishing mark. My Presence. This is what will change you. This is what will bless you.

Oh Lord, Wash me in the River of Your Presence!

Can I Break Your Heart Today?

Ras Robinson

Jesus is weeping again. His heart is still broken over the faint, downcast and hungry world. His tender mercies are still gushing from his belly. The needs of people today are the same as always. They need love and compassion, healing and deliverance. I want to sensitize your heart to see what I see. Shepherds and fathers with my heart of compassion are few and far between. I am indeed raising up a new breed of shepherd, a new breed of fathers. But right now I am turning my attention to you. I am raising up an army of compassion. These will be people who take the time to care. These are givers. They lay down their lives for the hurting and the lost ones. Would you be willing? Can I break your heart today?

Mark 6:34 And when He went ashore, He saw a great multitude, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.

Love: God's Preservative

Pastor Francis Frangipane

There will be a time when each of us will stand before Jesus Christ and He will open a door called "reality-past." There, we shall gaze into the days of our earthly existence.

Jesus will not only commend our lives in a general way, but He will point to specific things we did. Rejoicing together with us, He will say, "Well done!" Perhaps there was a special act of kindness that turned a bitter person back toward God; or you overcame your fears and led a person to Christ whom God then used to win thousands.

--------------------------
WELL DONE! THAT IS, BRAVO!
--------------------------

In the Latin translation of the Bible, the phrase well done is rendered "Bravo!" How would you like Jesus to say that to you? Imagine Him with His arm around your shoulder, saying, "Bravo! You were just an average person, but you trusted Me, you learned to love without fear, and look how many hearts we touched together!" To be so pleasing to Christ that He rejoices over the life we give Him should be our highest goal.

------------------------------
LOVE IN THE MIDST OF PRESSURE
------------------------------

Yet it is here, in a world filled with evils, demon-possessed people and conflicts of all sorts, that we must find the life of Christ. In fact, Jesus warned about the Great Tribulation; one meaning of the word tribulation is "pressure." Even today, is not stress and pressure increasing upon people? In spite of these tensions, God has called us to love extravagantly. If we do not counteract the stress of this age with love, we will crumble beneath the weight of offenses.

Have you ever seen in a supermarket a shopping cart full of bent food cans? Most have lost their labels. You can buy a half dozen for a dollar or two. What happened is that the atmospheric pressure outside the can was greater then the pressure inside, and the can collapsed. It could not withstand the pressure.

-----------------------------------
WE NEED THE PRESSURE OF GOD'S LOVE
-----------------------------------

Similarly, we must have an aggressive force pushing out from inside us that is equal to the pressures trying to crush us from the outside. We need the pressure of God's love pouring out through us, neutralizing the pressures of hatred and bitterness in the world.

Love is God's preservative. It surrounds our souls with a power greater than the power of the devil and the world around us. It keeps us balanced; it insulates us against the hostility that exists in our world. Love is the shelter of the Most High; it is the substance of the Place of Immunity.

Lord, forgive me for looking for some other means of protection besides Your love. Truly, pressures have increased upon my life; stress multiplies daily in our world. Yet, Lord, grant me the eternal equalizer: love. Grant that I would walk in such surrender to You that the power of Your love would unceasingly emanate from my soul. Amen.

This Cup Is 1931

Rick Joyner

I had a dream in 1991 in which I saw multitudes of fighter planes departing at a fast speed. I knew they were going to war. As I looked in the direction that they were going, it was as if I were on a cliff standing over a large city by the sea shore. I then saw six large sailing ships rise on the waves and come crashing down the streets of this city. As the ships tumbled down the streets, they were being destroyed and were doing great damage in the city. The dream then changed and I was standing in front of a doorway. A man came out of the door and gave me a cup, and said, "This cup is 1931."

This dream has proven to be true as far as the speed with which we went to war at that time. However, knowing that we "see in part," my interpretation in 1991 was only partially accurate. I still do not have a full understanding of it, but I have a little more than I want to share now. At the time, I knew that the planes taking off at such a speed represented the speed with which we were going to war, but I assumed that the rest of the dream was likewise related to the present situation then. I now think it was more expansive than that.

In 1991, I felt that the sailing ships represented those who are blown about by the wind, or who are unstable. This may be true in a way, but I now believe that these ships represent spiritual leaders because the wind often represents the Spirit (see John 3:8), and these ships were sailing vessels. Ships often represent leader-ship in dreams and visions. Because there were six ships, and six is the number of man (see Revelation 13:18), I feel that these were spiritual leaders, but those whose authority was more from man than from God. The way that the waves picked up these ships and sent them crashing down through the streets of the city, doing much damage to both the ships and the city, speaks of waves of the sea (humanity) coming that will cause these leaders to crash into the works of man (the city) doing much damage to each other.

This was a very dramatic event, and it could relate to what has actually been happening since the PTL debacle, though it certainly has not been limited to that ministry. I do believe the judgment that begins with the household of God started in a significant way in the 1980s, and that it too is coming as many things do at the end, in wave after wave of spiritual contractions. Eventually, all of these ships that are built on using the power of the Spirit to propel what is in fact man’s ministry will be destroyed. Their destruction will also bring significant destruction to "the city of man," which I think has certainly proven to be true.

All of this is also taking place at the time when we will again have to partake of the same cup that was served in 1931. This was not only the year that The Great Depression actually began, but also the time in which many of the events were released that paved the way for the Nazi spirit to prevail over Germany. The main purpose of that spirit was to destroy the Jewish people. I believe that this same spirit is what is presently working in the Islamic extremists, and it will again try to exert itself through major, world-wide economic problems. That is why the World Trade Center was a target of the September 11 attacks.

I believe we must beware of this Nazi spirit which is seeking to gain entry into every aspect of our culture, and even into the church. The Nazi’s used the church in Germany as one of the springboards to power, and in times of conflict such as we are entering, we must guard our hearts against the kind of racist extremism that is seeking to prevail in the hearts of men in our time. As Christians, we are called to be a house of prayer for all peoples, Jews and Arabs included.

The following are practical things that I wrote in 1991 which remain crucial for our time (some I have modified to include the additional understanding that I have at this time).

1. We must Seek the Lord.
We should NOT seek Him for what we should do but because He is what we are to be doing. Our first calling is fellowship with the Son, to be conformed into His image, and to follow Him wherever He goes. We may know exactly what is about to happen in the world, but if we are not abiding in Christ we will almost certainly be in the wrong place at the wrong time and suffering the wrong consequences. If we are abiding in Him, we will be in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing, regardless of whether we know what is going on or not.

READ: Matthew 6:25-34, Hebrews 12.

2. We must become an established, fruitful, functioning member of the body of Christ.
No one is properly joined to the Head who is not also properly joined to His body, the church. The church is, and will be until the end, the vessel through which the Lord does His work on the earth in this age. However, we must discern that which is being built whose "…architect and builder is God" (Hebrews 11:10) from the works of man. We are also proceeding into the time when everything that can be shaken will be, and we must build our lives on the kingdom that will not be shaken.

READ: 1 Corinthians 3:3-6,10:16-17, 11:23-30, Ephesians 4.

3. We must get rid of our excess baggage.
We must get out of debt and get out of everything else that is entangling us, sapping our time, strength, and resources and keeping us out of God’s will for our life. To the degree that the world and the prince of this world has his grip on us, it has been used to keep us out of God’s will. Debt is one of Satan’s most effective yokes to keep the church neutralized and powerless.

It does not matter how badly you are presently entangled, or how disobedient you have been to His previous warnings, if you repent now without compromise or wavering, He will help you.

READ: Deuteronomy 15:6, 28:12, Proverbs 22:7.

4. We must go on the offensive spiritually.
The Persian Gulf War, and the present War on Terrorism are parallels of what is happening in the spirit. This war is a righteous war that we must fight in both the natural and spiritual. We must fight against those who seek to control the world through fear, intimidation, or other forms of tyranny. We must do this in the church as it is being done in the natural. We must reject fear, paranoia, and the other forces of darkness that seek to destroy the true works of the Spirit. Fear cancels out love, and if fear is dictating our actions, we have fallen from our place in Christ.

This particular war is against the biblical "prince of Persia" whose contemporary name is "Allah." This is the same principality that resisted the prophet Daniel. Its primary strategy is the subjection and then destruction of all who call upon the true God, just as we see in its schemes to destroy Daniel when he prayed to the Lord. This is not the only battle that the church is in but it is the major one that is raging at this time.

Our warfare is for the destruction of strongholds so the people can be saved. It is time to pray for the destruction of the stronghold of Islam and the salvation of the Arab people. Before we can effectively launch a spiritual offensive against this stronghold, its grip on us must be removed. Strongholds are deceptions or misconceptions. A part of the strategy of the stronghold of Islam has been to erect misconceptions about Arabs in the minds of Christians as well as the reverse. Presently, this stronghold has a grip on Christians through fear, intimidation, and misunderstanding. We must respond to the fears and intimidation with courage and boldness and cast off the misunderstandings we have about the Arab people. We tend to perceive them in the light of the more extreme elements in their religion, just as they tend to perceive Christians by the extremists in our midst (who have historically been just as cruel, intolerant, and even murderous as any Moslem fundamentalists have). Our offensive against the stronghold of Islam must never become an attack upon the Arab people. We are commanded to "honor all men" (I Peter 2:17). We must honor the Arabs for that which is honorable, respect them for that which is worthy of respect, and above all, love them because God loves them and gave His Son for them.

King Solomon said that there is a time for war and a time for peace (see Ecclesiastes 3:8). We must be discerning of the times if we are going to be effective in our calling. One who has been in a conflict or battle knows that there is no other sensation quite like the level of consciousness, intensity, and focused vision that comes in the battle. Those who do not wake up to the circumstances when the battle begins will be in the most jeopardy. It is now time for war; the battle has begun. It is time to go after the strongholds of the enemy without relenting until the gates of hell have been shut.
