Yes, warfare is going heavily in the realm where the principalities and powers are trying to rule, but you are going to pull them down. You are going to speak in My Name. You have come out of the darkness. You are now walking in the light. You are realizing My Presence is with you. I speak to you to encourage you by My Spirit. For off in the distance you will hear about a realm by My Spirit through your spirit. It is a realm of Me; a realm of Me coming in glory, a realm of Me coming with My Anointing. I am coming with My angels to release and loose a revival like you've never seen before. Yes, you have heard of these things, but I tell you that you will experience it. For those I am calling out now, I'm calling into the depths of Myself. I'm calling you to a higher place. I'm calling you in authority and power to pull down those giants, to cast out the devils. Yes, I am calling you to raise the dead and to open the blind eyes. This will be My revival. Many souls will come out of darkness and they will come to Me because of your obedience and for what I've asked you to do. You will do it. Say to Me, "I will go." and I will reply that I hear your voice. It rattles through the heavenlies. I'm coming to drop a fresh anointing, to drop the latter rain. I am coming to cause you to rise up in My power. You shall awaken to a whole anointing and new place in Me. It shall arrive in your spirit shortly. Look for it. The word "prophet" speaks of unconventional methods and means. In this context the word "ministry" seems to imply the use of conventional methods and means. Prophets are unpredictable, while ministries have become very predictable. Ministries are typically planned by men, while prophets are ordered by God. Prophets have thrown themselves prostrate before God in order to be stood up by God to forever be set apart for God's purposes. Prophets hear only from God. Therefore, they can speak for God. Prophets have been touched by the hand of God. Therefore, they know the power of God. Prophets have been positioned to see from God's perspective, observing the world's system as it really is. For it is corrupt in nature with nothing of eternal value to offer. Prophets have seen the glory of God. Therefore, they know the call to be holy. Prophets have trembled before the holiness of God. Therefore, they will not tremble before men. To revere God is to fear no man - be it individuals or institutions. Prophets walk differently, as they hear a heavenly music. Prophets talk differently, as they hear a heavenly voice. Prophets act differently, as they desire the clear and effective communication of the word of the Lord. Peer pressure has no appeal to or influence upon the prophet. The prophet is more concerned about God's reputation than social acceptability. Prophets have sacrificially thrown themselves on the altar of God as an offering. There to be consumed by the fire of God as a sacrifice and filled with the Spirit of God as a sanctified vessel. Prophets have been consumed by the Holy in order to be empowered by the Holy. The scripture states that Christians are to be "kings and priests" (Revelation 1:6). However, the contemporary Christian is more like the traditionalist of Ezekiel's time than like the New Testament descript. Contemporary Christians tend to be predictable traditionalists merely tweaking the methods and means that they have been taught and trained to use. Typically speaking, the contemporary Christian is too busy to spend time with God in order to bask in His glorious presence, too busy to study the word of God in order to know the mind of God, too busy to have altar time with God to be consumed by holy fire, and too busy running from the demands of God to be running with God, knowing the miraculous will of God. Many contemporary Christians lack the vision and passion to build the Kingdom of God. Rather, they build the "Chapel of Self"..... His call from God to prophetic office is worthy of our examination, as our place in history cries out that God send prophets. His vantage point as a prophet is worth taking note of, for the conditions of the nation require the prophet's insight and perspective. His methods of communication should be studied, as the world needs to hear and understand its destitute rebellious nature and the impending judgment of all unrighteousness. His calling of the nation to repentance is worth remembering, for it is a fearful thing to not have grace cover the nation's sin. His promise of restoration is worth remembering, as it was given by Jehovah the covenant-keeping God. -From "The Wedding of Purity and Power" by Paul Holdren. -Paul Holdren, The Purpose of the Wilderness by Glen Riddick Whether you believe it or not, there is a purpose of the Wilderness. In the Old Testament, many of us have heard preachers and teachers of the Word of God mention that this 40 year ordeal of wandering in the wilderness could have been just a few week journey, but they never go into detail of the specific purpose of the Wilderness. If we look at the scriptures in Deuteronomy 8:2, "And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to "humble thee", and to "prove thee", to "know what was in thine heart", whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or not." 3 major things were mentioned: a.. to humble thee Because the Children of Israel did not do these specific "3" things (they murmured and complained and never changed ) they died in the wilderness. They were SAVED from the hands of Pharoah and the Egyptians, but they still died without obtaining the promised land that was given to them by God. Only Caleb and Joshua along with the next generation were ever able to crossover and possess the land .....are you getting this? You can be SAVED, but not have what is promised!! God is saying: you will die in the wilderness if you do not allow God to humble you, prove you and reveal to you the issues that are in your heart. The Lord is saying that you think that you are ready for the masses and packed out stadiums and churches, but really you are not. This 'proving ground' is where we must stay until we get right with God and then He allows us to truly possess the Promised Land. If we fast forward and look at the life of Jesus, we see that after He was baptized in the river Jordan, the Spirit of God came upon Him. Immediately the Spirit of God drove him in the wilderness to be tempted, tested and tried ( i.e. the proving ground ). Saints of God, do you see the pattern??? Jesus was in the wilder-ness just like the children of Israel, but instead of 40 years, it was only 40 days! Glory to God! When Jesus was in the wilderness, He passed every test! a.. He did not exalt himself because He was the Son of God. After GOD examined his heart and he passed the tests, the scriptures tell us that Jesus came out of the wilderness (i.e. the proving ground ) in the POWER of the SPIRIT and began to possess the Land. Wherever he went there were signs, wonders and miracles and there was victory!! I must be blunt and to the point today Child of God, please stop acting like the children of Israel in the wilderness, it will only cause death! You will die in the wilderness. Although God will take care of you to some degree, it is second best! I am tired of second best, aren't you?? I really do want to reach the masses! I really do want to flow in the Holy Ghost! I want to be just like Jesus and come out of the wilder-ness in the Power of the Spirit and then be able to say WATCH OUT DEVIL, I am COMING IN THE NAME of THE LORD!! Here is the reason you are in the wilderness: a.. Some of you are so lifted up in pride, that is the exact reason why you are in the wilderness. Dont ever think that the people that are being used mightily of God in our day and time have not paid a dear price for it!! People that are reaching out and making a difference (I am not talking about people that are in emotionalism or people that have learned to work a crowd) that are getting BIBLE RESULTS.... they have paid a great price to go all the way with God. Are you willing to pay that price? Are you willing to give it all up like the disciples? If not, you cannot be Jesus' disciple. Search the scriptures....this type of believer does not need advertisement.... GOD is their advertisement! In conclusion, God wants you to come out of the wilderness. God wants you to eat the good of the land. God wants us to be just like Jesus! If we are just like Jesus, churches will not be empty, if we are just like Jesus, people would have faith in God. If we are just like Jesus, we will be able to do the greater works that he talked about and will not waste time talking of what God used to do, but we will begin to talk about what he is doing right now! (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) He continually tries to stop your sight and vision. Has your vision been snatched away from you? WhatSee clearly about your gifts and ministries? If you have lost your vision, you are becoming blind. By receiving the word of God, you can be refreshed and renewed. This renewal awakens our vision and gives us clarity to see again. Don´t let the hope of your calling be taken away from you, snatched by the robber and destroyer. It is so important to find new sight. That is real pioneering: seeing afresh our vision. The things that are precious to us and will become new and valuable again as we see them in a new way. God is calling us to give up everything for the sake of this treasure: don´t let your eyes be dimmed. “..anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.’ (Revelation 3:15-18) There is ‘eye salve´ for the blind. It is repentance and embracing the cross. Are you aware of the areas of your life that you are blind in? Receive the costly eye salve! Apply it! Get new vision! We need a baptism of clear sight amidst the confusion, cloud and dullness: the darkness. Unblock the Wells We must be determined- and yet desperate to experience the Holy Spirit's power in our lives. Each of us needs to ‘unblock the wells´- of passion, of a real and deep walk with God, and of Holy Spirit anointing. Unblock the wells of passion The baptism in the Holy Spirit is crucial to maintaining the life of this church: have you received? Or do you need a fresh filling? (Acts 11:15-16) Even those who are faithful, and have been for many years, are dry and need a new anointing of the Holy Spirit. “I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.’ (Revelation 3:18) Is your ‘garment´ white? Is there unconfessed sin in your life? Purity of heart is essential in our walk with God. Sometimes we can allow things to take up room in us that God wants to fill: sin, reservation, opinion, worldly love, disobedience. Demonic powers want to stop us receiving from God, to cut off communication. Are you sensitive to what God is telling you? (Proverbs 8:34) Jesus depended on hearing the Father. (John 5:19, 30) God, the Father is the source of Jesus´ authority and confidence. Like Jesus we need to depend on God and draw our security from Him. It is important to look ahead, to look to the future. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.’ (Joshua 1:9) www.jesus.org.uk A Hopeless World of Insecurity By Olufunso J Omidiran I once read of someone who said ‘The fear of 9/11 is the beginning of wisdom´. This guy was apparently referring to the terrorist attack made my Islamists on America on September 11, 2001. It took the whole world by storm and the devastating effect still lives with us all till today. Unfortunately, this statement does not necessarily reflect the mind of God, even when it seems reasonable, but is at best, a flippant rhetoric of a natural man who is ignorant of God´s purpose for this age. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: BUT WE WILL REMEMBER the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright (Psalm 20:7, 8- emphasis added). Come to think of it, the greatest known powers of this world were literally brought to a standstill by callous fanatics all of a sudden! It was such a phenomenal catastrophe of international magnitude. No one wishes for anymore of such except the remnant of terrorists whose views are always rigid, having been religiously brainwashed and demon possessed. You wonder why a human being can decide to kill fellow humans. There is more to it than meet the eyes. May the Lord open the eyes of this generation and turn them to Himself quickly. A MODERN-DAY PROBLEM There is a very serious and urgent lesson to be learnt by the western world as well as everyone who may care to hear. Those who refuse to tremble at God´s word will surely tremble before godless terrorists. The main reason why the defence of the loftiest world powers was reduced to ashes is because they have forsaken and rejected their God. They need to learn this lesson fast lest a worse thing happens. May the Lord help us and save us now! Fortunately, the elect people of God seem to have become more vigilant in the spirit since the 9/11 tragedy, but we haven´t done enough. I feel very sorry for Western powers for they keep making the same mistake, doing the same thing and expecting a different result. For instance, you can see what has become of Great Britain whose Government keeps legislating and standing against God´s law and righteousness; a nation wherein Muslim fundamentalists gradually hold sway and make wave. Unlike their forefathers, Great Britain has refused to assert itself as a Christian nation. They even hate to hear anything that has to do with Jesus because they just don´t want to ‘offend´ non-Christians. They make life difficult for Christians and Christian activities; they do everything to frustrate evangelism and missions. They claim equality without equity; they hope to make peace with an implacable hydra-headed demon that does not desire peace. A battle is already lost when the Lord of Hosts is left out of it. Peace becomes elusive when men reject the Prince of Peace. Jesus is the Healer of the nations. But why do men choose the path of eternal failure? TWO WORLDS OF DARKNESS AT DAGGERS DRAWN Some few days ago, I was watching an Al Qaeda spokesman issuing a stern warning to the West saying, ‘Don´t mess with Muslims´. I wonder how comfortable this could be with our Muslim friends if peradventure this guy was indeed speaking on their behalf. But one thing is very clear, the man represents a world of perverted religious beliefs, of hardened fanatics who have been religiously brainwashed and cut out to destroy. They are set against another world? of secular God-hating irreligious self-seekers: this is the western world. The former claim to fight on behalf of the Almighty while the latter pretends as if there is no God at all! They are both deluded and ruled by the satanic prince of darkness. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that HE DOETH GOD SERVICE (John 16:2-note my emphasis). What do the religious fanatics stand for? They believe that they are actually doing God service by killing His ‘enemies´ or ‘infidels´. They believe that they will be rewarded for killing, eliminating, plundering, torturing, raping and wasting non-Muslims. They also have a twisted definition of peace. They use every possible means to subdue and ‘convert´ a non-Muslim. They yet use further force and threat to keep all their followers in bondage through stiff laws and capital punishment for anyone that may change his/her view. There is a strong fear and insecurity among Islamists against Christians because our God is still saving men and turning men onto Himself. Hence, there is a relentless war of attrition against Christians by the world of Islam. Sometime ago, a dear friend of mine was to lead a missionary-relief team to war-torn Dafur region of Sudan and they were refused visa by the authorities and prevented from helping the poor people simply because they were Christians. LET US HEED GOD´S WARNING God has been sending warning signals to the entire world through various natural and unnatural disasters in recent times; we must not take these for granted. We have seen outbreaks of deadly diseases, hurricane, typhoon, tsunami, earthquakes, fire-outbreaks and so forth. Men in their foolishness fear the threats of terrorists who are mere mortals and they refuse to pay attention to God´s warning. The living God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is calling all nations back to Himself; willing to save and grant them true peace. He says ‘Without Me, you can do nothing´ and that is the truth of the matter (John 15:5). Do you know that this is the best time for everyone to repent and acknowledge Jesus the Prince of Peace as Lord? America and other western powers devote much of their budget to defence and security, but they cannot stand without God, the Only True Defence and Refuge. The rulers of the nations must give room for the gospel and allow the truth to thrive. It is the Christians who pray, intercede and move the hand of the Lord to save our nations. How long will the nations give room for Satan and hinder the cause of Christ Jesus? There is no doubt about it; those nations which apparently began with God and now reject Him have removed the ancient landmarks and will suffer for it if they do not heed God´s warning. Shalom. www.livingsword.org The Economy Is A Lie, Too By Paul Craig Roberts Americans cannot get any truth out of their government about anything, the economy included. Americans are being driven into the ground economically, with one million school children now homeless, while Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke announces that the recession is over. The spin that masquerades as news is becoming more delusional. Consumer spending is 70% of the US economy. It is the driving force, and it has been shut down. Except for the super rich, there has been no growth in consumer incomes in the 21st century. Statistician John Williams of shadowstats.com reports that real household income has never recovered its pre-2001 peak. The US economy has been kept going by substituting growth in consumer debt for growth in consumer income. Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan encouraged consumer debt with low interest rates. The low interest rates pushed up home prices, enabling Americans to refinance their homes and spend the equity. Credit cards were maxed out in expectations of rising real estate and equity values to pay the accumulated debt. The binge was halted when the real estate and equity bubbles burst. As consumers no longer can expand their indebtedness and their incomes are not rising, there is no basis for a growing consumer economy. Indeed, statistics indicate that consumers are paying down debt in their efforts to survive financially. In an economy in which the consumer is the driving force, that is bad news. The banks, now investment banks thanks to greed-driven deregulation that repealed the learned lessons of the past, were even more reckless than consumers and took speculative leverage to new heights. At the urging of Larry Summers and Goldman Sachs' CEO Henry Paulson, the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bush administration went along with removing restrictions on debt leverage. When the bubble burst, the extraordinary leverage threatened the financial system with collapse. The US Treasury and the Federal Reserve stepped forward with no one knows how many trillions of dollars to “save the financial system,’ which, of course, meant to save the greed-driven financial institutions that had caused the economic crisis that dispossessed ordinary Americans of half of their life savings. The consumer has been chastened, but not the banks. Refreshed with the TARP $700 billion and the Federal Reserve's expanded balance sheet, banks are again behaving like hedge funds. Leveraged speculation is producing another bubble with the current stock market rally, which is not a sign of economic recovery but is the final savaging of Americans' wealth by a few investment banks and their Washington friends. Goldman Sachs, rolling in profits, announced six figure bonuses to employees. The rest of America is suffering terribly. The unemployment rate, as reported, is a fiction and has been since the Clinton administration. The unemployment rate does not include jobless Americans who have been unemployed for more than a year and have given up on finding work. The reported 10% unemployment rate is understated by the millions of Americans who are suffering long-term unemployment and are no longer counted as unemployed. As each month passes, unemployed Americans drop off the unemployment role due to nothing except the passing of time. The inflation rate, especially “core inflation,’ is another fiction. “Core inflation’ does not include food and energy, two of Americans' biggest budget items. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) assumes, ever since the Boskin Commission during the Clinton administration, that if prices of items go up consumers substitute cheaper items. This is certainly the case, but this way of measuring inflation means that the CPI is no longer comparable to past years, because the basket of goods in the index is variable. The Boskin Commission's CPI, by lowering the measured rate of inflation, raises the real GDP growth rate. The result of the statistical manipulation is an understated inflation rate, thus eroding the real value of Social Security income, and an overstated growth rate. Statistical manipulation cloaks a declining standard of living. In bygone days of American prosperity, American incomes rose with productivity. It was the real growth in American incomes that propelled the US economy. In today's America, the only incomes that rise are in the financial sector that risks the country's future on excessive leverage and in the corporate world that substitutes foreign for American labor. Under the compensation rules and emphasis on shareholder earnings that hold sway in the US today, corporate executives maximize earnings and their compensation by minimizing the employment of Americans. The worst part of the decline is yet to come. Bank failures and home foreclosures are yet to peak. The commercial real estate bust is yet to hit. The dollar crisis is building. When it hits, interest rates will rise dramatically as the US struggles to finance its massive budget and trade deficits while the rest of the world tries to escape a depreciating dollar. Since the spring of this year, the value of the US dollar has collapsed against every currency except those pegged to it. The Swiss franc has risen 14% against the dollar. Every hard currency from the Canadian dollar to the Euro and UK pound has risen at least 13 % against the US dollar since April 2009. The Japanese yen is not far behind, and the Brazilian real has risen 25% against the almighty US dollar. Even the Russian ruble has risen 13% against the US dollar. The American household of my day, in which the husband worked and the wife provided household services and raised the children, scarcely exists today. Most, if not all, members of a household have to work in order to pay the bills. However, the jobs are disappearing, even the part-time ones. If measured according to the methodology used when I was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, the unemployment rate today in the US is above 20%. Moreover, there is no obvious way of reducing it. There are no factories, with work forces temporarily laid off by high interest rates, waiting for a lower interest rate policy to call their workforces back into production. The work has been moved abroad. In the bygone days of American prosperity, CEOs were inculcated with the view that they had equal responsibilities to customers, employees, and shareholders. This view has been exterminated. Pushed by Wall Street and the threat of takeovers promising “enhanced shareholder value,’ and incentivized by “performance pay,’ CEOs use every means to substitute cheaper foreign employees for Americans. Despite 20% unemployment and cum laude engineering graduates who cannot find jobs or even job interviews, Congress continues to support 65,000 annual H-1B work visas for foreigners. I will fill you to overflowing as you yield to Me and set yourself apart for Me. I will pour you forth with My manifest glory in a new way. There will be an abundance of love and joy in My presence. Those around you will take note and marvel, as you become a more and more effective vessel of My glory. For you, My people, are My vessels. You are the ones through whom I will pour forth My love on the world. You are the ones through whom I will show My Glory. Sanctify yourselves; be holy and set apart for Me. You will walk in a greater measure of My presence than ever before. I will delight your soul with My love, even as you pour forth for others. The more you yield, the more I will fill you, and the more you will have to give out. I love you, My people. I love My own, but I also love the world that still walks in darkness. Be My channels, My vessels, by which rivers of My glory may begin to rise up and flood the earth. This will be a sign, a message, that will draw many to Myself. My children, I want you to be at the center of it. So come close. Let Me cleanse and fill you, and pour forth My glory. You will be forever changed, bearing My likeness and walking in My full abundance. Come close, My children, My people, My own. Let Me fill you to overflowing. c.. to know what was in thine heart So as we examine the scriptures, the specific purpose of the wilder-ness was a mere 'proving ground'. In the wilderness, one is supposed to die to the flesh (your ideas, your ways) and hearken to the Word of GOD.
b.. He did not misuse the Power of God that was within Him and remained humble.
c.. He was not going to worship another God and sell out for worldly possessions!
b.. Some of you are failing every single trial and test, so that is why you are in the wilderness, you cannot get past the proving process.
c.. Some of you when you open your mouth, you can clearly see why you are in the wilderness because, "out of the abundance of your heart, the mouth speaketh".
